Clearwater, FL.

Gainesville, GA.

San Jose, Costa Rica.

Santiago, Dominican Republic.

Home is wherever I’m with you, Jesus.

Home. All this time I’ve though home was a house, a place. I didn’t know home could be a feeling- something associated with comfort, stability, and safety. I didn’t know home didn’t have to be one place, but that it could be more, that it could be anywhere. Truth is, I didn’t know what home was. I didn’t know that home wasn’t a specific place but instead something found in you. That you are home, that home is wherever I’m with you. That home is being held in your arms. And if there’s one thing I know, it’s that’s I’m always in your arms, always home. Even when I don’t feel at home, even when I’m in a completely different country, I’m home in your arms. I know that I don’t have to fear losing home because I’ll never lose you, you’ll never leave, you’ll never stop holding me. No matter where or when, you will always be home, and I will always be home.

Clearwater, FL was home for awhile, Jesus is home forever.

Gainesville, GA was home for awhile, Jesus is home forever.

Costa Rica is home for now, Jesus is home forever.

The DR will be home for awhile, Jesus will be home forever.

I’ve slept in 15 different places since the beginning of my race, but I’ve been home this whole time. And I find so much comfort in that.

Thank you, Jesus, that home is wherever I’m with you. Thank you that you redefine home. That home is a place of comfort, stability, safety, peace, rest, joy, companionship, trust, and love. That it isn’t something I ever have to long for, because I’m always in your arms.

Oh hey! See that I mentioned the DR?! Suprise, it’s our next country!!! Dear DR, we can’t wait to meet you! More details to come soon! And thanks for reading!

Also- I wanted to show you guys what home looks like here in Costa Rica, so enjoy this photo blog 🙂
